  • M c/o HEATHER (prayerpartner, Birmingham) - Wednesday 7th     Praise God that M is now out of hospital, and although she is still not well, she is sleeping better and should gradually start to improve. Apparently it was a virus, so it just has to run its course. Please pray that she will recover really soon, and that both her and her mum will soon be back to feeling 100% better. At the moment her mum is exhausted and feeling the strain of M's illness, so please pray for a lifting of the burden and a lifting of her spirits, and that she will be really encouraged by seeing M improve and by her own health returning to normal. Thanks.

  • ANONYMOUS - Tuesday 6th     An answer to prayer (Wednesday 24th May).  God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in time of trouble ( psalm 46v 1). In trouble go to psalm 91 especially vv1+2. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will say of the Lord: He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.  He's got it in hand.  Thank you, sweet dear Jesus.

  • P (Coventry) - Saturday 3rd     Hiya All. Thanks for your prayers. Sara and I both got our dissertations handed in on time. God really carried me this week - I had a certainty that it was all going smoothly and would get done in time and it did. Finished it at 1 am Wed night/Thursday morning...would have been earlier if Sara and I hadn't been on MSN and talking about non dissertation stuff as well as dissertation stuff. So now I'm free and degree is over...just the waiting to find out how I did and if I passed. Thanks

  • JEN - Thursday 1st     Hi My passport, with the R1 visa arrived yesterday!!!! I leave Wednesday. I'm very excited to finally be going back. I'm still a little nervous about immigration. Please keep praying, I know it's not over until I'm all the way back. However, I do know that God will follow through and finish what He's started. Thank you, I'll be in touch from San Fran.
I got in!!!!!! They took me aside at immigration, but the guy I spoke to was really nice and said now London have given me an R1 visa there shouldn't be a problem again. It's very strange being back, but I know I'll settle in soon. It's so good that it's all 100 % The timing is perfect too. I get to see the DTS I met in Rome graduate, we go on a staff camping trip next week and then the week after the summer staff arrive ready for Summer Day Camp. Thank you so much for your part in making this happen. I know God's done loads in me and that there's loads to come. I'll be in touch once I've caught up with everything here... Well, it seems I have been given an R1 visa!!! When I get my passport back with the visa, it will be definite. I should receive it within a few days. The interview was awful, I was asked the hardest questions and hope I never have to go to the US Embassy again! It didn't look like they had received the copy of the report though, so God got me the visa without the report. I think God had stepped in and that I would have been given the visa regardless. So, I plan to go back sometime next week. Thank you all so much for all your prayers and support. I know a lot of you were praying yesterday. Please keep praying that I will get my passport back with the right visa in it and particularly for when I go through immigration in San Fran. My previous visa has a huge stamp through it that says visa revoked/cancelled, so obviously this doesn't look too good. Anyway, thank you again, I'll be in touch just before I leave, love Jen.

  • JULES (prayerpartner, USA) - Wednesday 31st     Brenda is better. She had some changes in medications and her BP is under control and her heart rate is down. Please pray she will change her mind and let them do a CCTA on her heart. They tried and her veins did not stand the pressure of the dye injection (it's done by machine).
I add a praise report that I had some problems with my heart rate being low. The Nurse Practitioner took me off one of the medications (which was also causing weird dreams). I'm having to lower the dosage on one of the other medications because I have lost 2st. 4lb.and my blood pressure is coming down because of that.
I forgot to mention that as a result of my problems with my diastolic BP and heart rate they scheduled me for a CCTA (Coronary Computer Tomagraphy Angiogram), a fairly new procedure that provides a picture of the heart, and the result is all the arteries and the heart itself are completely normal. Praise God! Your partner in sharing God's great love.

  • HEATHER (prayerpartner, Birmingham) - Sunday 28th     Heather, Birmingham Thanks to all who prayed for me on my tour of Europe with the orchestra. I cannot praise God enough for the wonderful answers I received during that time. I was able to walk well when I needed, and although I was in agony with my right knee after the injection the night before the tour, that pain subsided and then I was reasonably OK. I felt well in myself, enjoyed the playing, had wonderful fellowship with God during that time, and good quality relationship times with people.
However, not in any way to detract from those answered prayers, as I write this now, on Sunday evening, I am in agony again from my right knee. I managed to hurt it somehow on Friday evening, and it is really painful to straighten or fully weight bear. I am also getting more pain in the other knee now as it has been compensating for me limping, and my left ankle as well is hurting due to all the extra stress on it as I have been going up and down steps and jarring it a lot. Added to this, my back is now really starting to bother me again, so I would be very grateful of prayers, as I am not really sure what is going on!! I am seeing my rheumatology nurse on Tuesday, the one who managed to get me an emergency appointment for the injection: please pray that she will listen and will know what to do, not just shrug it off as one of those things, as the knee pain in particular is really making life very difficult and I am having to take constant strong painkillers. Thanks.

  • JORDON c/o STEVE - Sunday 28th     'Please pray for a young guy in my youth called Jordon, he hurt his spine in a rugby game, and he is feeling numbness in his body. Thanks, Steve.' Praise God! He was sent home a couple of days later, no problems, though is unable to do any physical activities for 3 months and he is gutted! But thank you Lord of helping my young friend, and thank you all for praying.

  • JACQUELINE & PAUL - Tuesday 16th     HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD! Our God is so ever faithful. Thank you for praying for my wife Jacqueline and me, Paul. God has sent us new students over these few days. Thank you for praying for our health, our good and faithful Lord has healed us. Please do continue to pray for Jacqueline and me that our Lord bless us and grant unto good health as well as a prosperous home tuition business. We had posted our corru boards and leaflets at different places, please continue to intercede for us that God touches the hearts of everyone, young and old to read them, to call us up, come to our house register as well as to pay us on the spot for all our courses, that God provides us house, cars of our own and grant unto us a financial breakthrough so that we can give all the glory to Him. HALLELUJAH! We are praying for more than 200 students and we know that God is able to do so much abundantly more and above that we can ask or think of. We are claiming Ephesians 3:20 and Philippians 4:19. We are home tutors who teach academic subjects, counsel and conduct Personal Development & Character Building Courses to help children and teenagers in their academic and personal development. Please pray that God sends us more parents from the North, South, East and West of where we are staying to enrol in our home tuition programmes, Special Courses, Personal Development and Character Building Courses. Dear brothers and sisters, your prayers mean a lot to us because we have seen how powerful united prayers are, and they truly move the hands of our Almighty God. Words alone cannot express our gratitude to all of you who had prayed for us and are still praying for us. Dearest Lord Jesus, please bless all prayer warriors, brothers and sisters in Christ who had lifted us up in prayers and all those who are still praying for us and grant them excellent health, prosperity in every areas of their lives. Thank you, thank you very much O Lord. Thank you very much for praying for us. May God richly bless you.

  • AMY (prayerpartner, Warks) - Thursday 11th     God is good. The hospital experience was very pleasant.  Kind, friendly staff, nice waiting room, and a nice specialist, who said that 'In the bad old days we would have done surgery for this problem, but now we have another option', which was my prayer!  I should receive this alternative treatment quite soon - please pray that it works, and this problem is healed.  Thank you dear Jesus!

  • LEE - Thursday 11th     I received very good news today that my purse had been found! It was turned in to one of my bank's branches two towns away. All of the important items were in there - the credit cards, my driver's license, and the car keys! I also found a note from the mother of the teenage girl who found my purse in a store. She hoped that I didn't lose anything, and then wrote "May God bless and keep you always."  "L.W." was her name. She said she would've mailed me my purse, but she doesn't have a job so she couldn't. I also pray to the Lord that she would find a job soon.  Praise the Lord for such a wonderful surprise! I do believe this was a wake-up call, and I really hope to be a better Christian and to keep my faith strong. I am extremely grateful to all of you who prayed with me. Thank you very much! Thank you, thank you. Praise be to God.

  • ANONYMOUS - Tuesday 9th     Twenty years ago I was a new Christian suffering with O.C.D and depression. Through his work on the cross and him seeking me I saw healing beginning to take place. I was afraid to share my fears so Jesus showed me I could trust  him and I prayed for someone he brought that person into my life and she brought me to salvation. I was lonely and I asked for people and he gave me a Christian coffee shop to go to and others I could speak about spiritual things to. In twenty years he has walked through difficult times, happy times and sad times with me. He wants to do the same for you because he is a faithful God.

  • ASHBY - Monday 8th     Hello,  A couple of months ago, I had posted a prayer request regarding making it to the next semester of graduate school and praise God, I did! Now this semester is almost coming to an end and once again, I request your prayers that I may pass my finals, my classes and raise my GPA enough to make it to the clinical rotations by the end of this month. God has been so good to me thus far and it is by His grace alone that I am where I am today. Please also pray that I stand firm in faith that God will surely hear my prayers. Thank You. God Bless!

  • MARIA - Sunday 7th     Dear friends in Jesus.  Since my separation from my husband John on the 1st feb2006 I was requesting prayers for my marriage. My husband's drinking problem and to break the bondage of his affair with one of his ex girl friends. With all your prayers GOD has restored my marriage and has broken the bondage from this woman and healed him in his drinking problem. April 2006

  • ANONYMOUS - Sunday 30th     I asked you to pray for me on Easter Saturday. God gave a word to someone at church last week and I knew it was meant for me so I awkwardly went up for prayer and talked about how I had been feeling. My bible reading notes had also spoken to me at the same time. I already feel released now I have spoken my feelings. Friendships are a gift from God, but when they become all consuming they are unhealthy and that person can become Jesus and take His rightful place in our hearts. "It's not what it is - it is what it has become". We can become unfaithful to God and have to openly confess "Spit it out" as it said in my notes. Thank you for your prayer.

  • P&J, C/0 HEATHER (prayerpartner, Birmingham) - Thursday 27th     Praise God for answered prayer. So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me!!!!'Heb.13:5-6 also, verse 8,'Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and for ever' What great encouragement, love and grace do we find in our Lovingly Heavenly Father! And to know He has no favorites! Great is the Name of the Lord!
