  • ANONYMOUS - Wednesday 30th    I thank God for the peace that I feel these last couple of days, for what He has already planned for my life, that His plan is Good and better than any plan I can think of! I thank Him for Word and messages and people, often strangers that say just one small thing to uplift me! He is an Awesome God and Heavenly Father! I want to thank Him all day long! Thank you Lord! Thank You!

  • DAKIN - Monday 28th    My name is Dakin. I'm only 15 but God has shown me many things - remember prayer can move mountains, here are some examples in my life.  Through prayer giant storms have stopped in their tracks and went back from when they came, through prayer rain has stopped and the sun has come out, I got a laptop, I have a more intimate relationship with God, My mom stopped drinking Yukon Jack, I went from a thief and liar to a more Godly person, my life was saved. My advice is keep going, praying, praising God, reading the word, and you'll come out on top.

  • ANONYMOUS - Monday 28th     Thank you for the prayers for Carolyn. She is home and doing much better.

  • GOSPEL FOR ASIA - Sunday 27th    GOOD NEWS, PRAISE THE LORD! Latest News from the Gospel for Asia website: 22/11/2005: Threat to Burn Indian Believers Thwarted.  Working through a professional Christian news network, Gospel for Asia has learned that the threat against 60 believers in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has been thwarted. A reporter from Compass Direct news service said that members of a Believers Church there met peacefully Sunday, November 20, despite death and arson threats from Hindu extremists. "We were able to meet without incident," said Ramish Masih, the son of Pastor Feroz Masih.  The church meets in Masih's house in the town of Baijnath. On November 4, members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP or World Hindu Council) and its youth wing, Bajrang Dal, assaulted the elder Masih. After beating him, they told Masih that if he and his 60 church members failed to take part in a "re-conversion" ceremony on November 20, they would burn them to death. However, a senior VHP member said the VHP would not "re-convert" the Christians against their will. The planned re-conversion ceremony was apparently dropped due to police intervention. Police had warned VHP members that they would be held responsible for any harm done to Masih or his church members, senior police official Ravinder Singh Jamwal said. Jamwal also said all citizens had a constitutional right to practice and preach their respective religions, and Masih had the right to preach and distribute Christian tracts. Police Inspector Sureshta Thakur of the Baijnath police station said she had warned the VHP and its supporters against taking the law into their own hands. "There are many illiterate people in Baijnath who can easily be misled to believe that Christians are forcibly converting Hindus," she said. "These misconceptions are the root of the problem."When the church asked Thakur for police protection for the worship service on November 20, however, she refused, saying, "Only the district collector has the authority to sanction police protection." Thakur sent two police constables to visit Masih's house on November 19. She also tried to arrange a meeting between Masih and the six attackers named in this police complaint. All six of the attackers, however, had gone into hiding and could not be contacted. Masih's sonsaid he did not want the attackers punished, but that he hoped local officials would protect the Christian minority. He also rejected the claims of "forced" or fraudulent" conversion made against his father, saying such false accusations are a mere pretext for attacking and harassing Christians. "Recently, I arranged a press conference in which many of our church members said they had accepted Christianity out of their own free will, because they had been healed of their diseases,"  he added. A recent police inquiry found that Masih had not converted anyone by force or by fraudulent means.  All praise and thanks to our Gracious Lord and Saviour. Halleluia!

  • NICK (Essex) - Remembrance Friday 11th     Tom (my brother) who we all prayed for a while ago has just got a job working in Debenhams and is feeling more upbeat about life. Thank you all for your prayer support in this.

  • REI AND MICH - Tuesday 8th     Thank you Lord!!! Thank You! Thank you for little Luke! The miracle baby who was born today at midday by emergency caesarean! Thank You for Your wonderful Love and Grace!! You are so faithful!! Thank you~!!! I love You!

  • HEATHER - Tuesday 8th     many thanks to all who have prayed for me recently. When I asked for prayer I was really worried about being able to continue in my job as a professional violinist due to my chronic pain and arthritis etc. God has been very good and has been 'a very present help in time of trouble!' (Psalm 46 v 1). I have been very aware of God's presence, and have managed to keep going at work even on the really difficult days. I am very aware too that I can only go on doing this job in God's strength, and would be grateful of ongoing prayer that I will continue to be able to trust God for each day and not worry about the future, especially as I am only able to have physio treatment once a week now instead of twice. Thanks.

  • JUSTUS & LINCOLN (Russia) - Sunday 6th    Thank you for your prayers for Justus and Lincoln, the missionaries to Russia. Justus made it Moscow on Friday morning, met Lincoln and they both are now on their way to Siberia by train. Justus' mother says, " Thanks for praying . . . all of you."

  • ROB (prayerpartner, Warwickshire) - Friday 4th     I got the job! WOOOOO HOOOOO! Thank you to all those who prayed and thank God for His goodness! I'll be working for HABITAT FOR HUMANITY UK in Banbury.

  • PASTOR ROBERT D. MONTEITH - Tuesday 1st  UPDATE    As of this morning we had received dozens of e-mails and phone calls from several countries from many concerned parties requesting information concerning rumors about the impending execution of Bro. Ferdie Flores.  Apparently the information is circulating via e-mail and SMS. I've contacted a source close to Bro. Flores regarding those rumors. That source has responded as follows: "The information you have received is not correct. That information has been going all over the Philippines and even to the States the last couple of days. Actually Ferdie and his family have experienced quite a bit of persecution recently. Several threats have been made by priests, but there has not been any physical harm done to Ferdie as of yet. Although last week a mob of about 250 people did surround Ferdie with stones, sticks, and machetes, but the Lord intervened and the crowd was dispersed without incident. As of now things are calm, but could erupt at any time. Ferdie has requested much prayer. But, he was never arrested and was never scheduled for execution as was reported. Hopefully this will clear things up for you. Thank you for writing." This is all the information we have at this time. While we praise the Lord for this report, we do want to encourage you to continue in prayer for the Flores family. Widest dissemination of this information is appreciated. Sincerely, Robert D. Monteith Pastor

  • ANONYMOUS - Monday 31st     Lord I want to thank you for this time of tribulation and uncertainty, for not knowing if we're coming or going or what Your plan is with us/me. Everything feel so unreal for me, it seems I have lost my true friend, which I miss terribly, which fills my heart with such sadness, but if it is not from you, or in you, then it is good this way. I thank You that You will also be the Healer of all my pains and sadness, that You have a good plan and that someday, I will look back and see how wonderful You are!! How absolutely Perfect! How timeless Your love and Grace and plans are for us, Your children. I thank You, I thank You!! And I love You dear Lord!

  • ANONYMOUS - Monday 24th     I want to thank God and praise His Holy Name! The brother and sister who had a huge fight and wouldn't make peace for 6 months now, has at last started talking to one another and I have good hope that their relationship which was very good, will be restored completely! A weekend which had it's misgivings, turned out to be very pleasant, thanks be to God! I also want to thank and praise God for the outcome He is planning for us with the deadline at the end of this week, when we will know if we are going to move to England or not. My husband and I are also praying together now which we haven't done for years! Please keep on praying as every now and then I have a dip and feel a bit down, and the same with my husband. Thank you and blessings!

  • ANONYMOUS - Monday 24th     I asked earlier in the summer for prayer because I was addicted to viewing internet pornography and this was making me feel trapped and my self esteem was very poor. Although I think it will continue to pose some sort of problem in the future because I am a single man and have difficulties forming relationships, I have been surprised recently by how I have not only been able to avoid the websites I was visiting but have not really missed it either - this was particularly an answer to prayer as I did not want to be trying to alter my behaviour while secretly struggling with those desires. Clearly I need to avoid complacency as it is still early days. Thankfully someone at my church is also able to offer support although I don't feel I can talk to many people about this issue.

  • ROB - Thursday 20th     I now have a job interview on 1st November! Please pray that I am ready and at my best, and that the interviewers will be open to me. Amen!

  • GILL - Thursday 20th     I wrote on the 7/10/05 that my husband had left me and gone to look for work on the other side of France, where we live, to be near his mistress. I fasted and prayed for three days last week and in the evening of the third day my husband rang me and asked if we could spend a few days together. He is staying with his parents at the moment. He said - albeit with difficulty - that he loved me and missed me. He has not found any work. I'm meeting him on Sunday 23/10/05 and we're going to spend a few days walking in the mountains. Thank you for your prayers - the Lord is really working on my husband's heart. Would you please pray that our time together will be blessed and that my husband will break off all communication with this girl and realise that he wants to be with me always. Please pray that he will find work closer to home. And (most importantly) pray that he will come back to the Lord and surrender his life completely to Him. Thank you so much. God does answer prayer and often so quickly we are taken by surprise! Praise Him!

  • JENNY - Tuesday 18th     Praise to God and many thanks to everyone who prayed for me this morning! I passed my driving test first time and I was not too nervous about taking it! Thank you!!

  • DANNY c/o BOBBY (Brother) - Tuesday 18th     In July this year Danny was involved in a terrible road accident. He has been on life support and linked up to loads of tubes etc. The drs said it was unlikely that he would pull through, and certainly he would never walk again. Last week he came to church with his wife for the first time since the accident. He is doing so well. We are actually seeing a miracle before our eyes. Please keep on praying for his continued progress and may he be restored to complete health and strength. Thank you Jesus for all you are dong in his life.

  • ANONYMOUS - Monday 17th     I want to continue to thank God for changing D heart and strengthen him in his trust of God also thanks be to God, because my friend has made contact though it is not yet back on a friendship base, but I am very thankful! It is such small matters, but God proves to be True and faithful and wonderfully kind!! Thank you for your prayers and blessings!

  • A & K - Sunday 16th     I'd like to tell you about two girls, A and K. We have not prayed for them on this site, but their church has been praying for them every week. Today we heard that A's cancer is in remission and that K's brain tumour is shrinking. Thank you, God for Your goodness and healing power! Please pray for them now, that they may be completely healed. They have their whole lives before them....

  • D c/o ANONYMOUS - Friday 14th     I want to THANK God for the miracle of last night! That the one problem has been solved in such a wonderful way! For His faithfulness and kindness!!! Thank you Dear Lord! and to you for your prayers, but please continue to pray for the sale of the house and the direction God wants us to take. Blessings!

  • SOUTHAM 24/7  PRAYER WEEK - Friday 7th    We thank and praise God for the prayer week from 25 Sept- 2 Oct. Every hour of the week was filled, with individuals or groups from the 4 churches in the town. The prayer room was beautiful, a real stimulus to prayer, full of ideas and peace. We pray that the friendships and relationships of that week will grow to a bigger and better collaboration among the churches.

  • ANONYMOUS - Tuesday 27th     Do you remember praying for Murphy Davis in USA? She has been fighting Burkitt's lymphoma for many years and has been waiting for a bone marrow transplant. Her latest CT scan showed that the cancer is in full remission!! Her fungal pneumonia is stable and seems to have healed a bit, though she may have that for the rest of her life. So, although she will continue to be monitored, she does not need a bone marrow transplant. Thanks to everyone who has prayed and to God for His healing. Although Murphy never found the bone marrow donor, hundreds of people joined the bone marrow registry for her and others, which will be a source of life and hope for many. Rejoice!

  • ANONYMOUS - Friday 23rd     Some time ago I asked for prayer for somebody who was struggling with (among other things ) an addiction problem. I know a lot of people were praying. Recently I heard that things are going very well, that they have managed to deal with the problems and that they are moving forward, walking with God in a new life. Thanks to everybody who prays through this site and to God for His healing power.

  • HEATHER (BIRMINGHAM) - Friday 23rd      Thanks to all who have been praying for me about my spiritual life. I really feel as if I have turned a corner with God's help, and have re-awoken to the real meaning of God's love for me. I know the passion will wax and wane, but I thank God that He has rekindled that passion at the moment!  Please continue to pray about my physical disabilities and pain, that I will always be able to see God at work in my pain and trust Him with whatever may come. Please pray too that I may be able to be a witness to His love and grace in my pain.

  • P c/o ANONYMOUS - Tuesday 13th     Over the past few months I have requested prayer for P in Canada, who has been treated for cancer. She has come to the end of the programme and it seems to have been successful. Thank you to everybody who has prayed, and to God for His healing. Continue to pray for her, that the cancer will not come back, and that she will be able to enjoy her forthcoming holiday in England with her family.

  • AF c/o ANONYMOUS - Monday 12th     I have asked for prayer for AF who has been undergoing treatment for cancer for several months. It seems as though the treatment has been successful and he is feeling very well. We thank God for His goodness, and thank those who prayed for A. Please continue to pray that the cancer will not return and that he and his family can get back to a normal life.

  • DAVID - Monday 12th     I want to say a big thank you for your continued prayers for David as he travels each day to London for his work. He is feeling much more comfortable with travelling, as he feels so lifted up and supported by the prayers. A group of people from his church are praying for his confidence to return to normal. Thank you all.

  • G c/o ANONYMOUS - Saturday 3rd     I have occasionally asked for prayers for a friend G. who is elderly and frail. At the weekend I had a strong feeling I should pray for her, but did not know what exactly to pray for! On Tuesday I heard that she will be moving to a lovely new retirement flat near to her daughter, grand-daughter and new great grand-child. This is indeed the answer to many prayers. Thank you, God, for this solution to a growing problem!

  • MARY AND JEFF (USA) - Friday 2nd     Earlier this year Jeff and I started to meet in homes for house church. We had a rough time. So rough I thought we were on the wrong track. We now we will soon be inc. as a church and we will open soon. God is in charge. Praise the Lord. In His Love,

  • ANONYMOUS - Sunday 28th     Dear Lord, thank you for answering our prayers! We sometimes take it for granted when things work out, when a child is safe, when attitudes change, when the day is beautiful and we have ears and eyes and all our faculties to enjoy life! We tend to focus on that little bit that is a torn in our flesh and forget to see our wonderful blessings we take for granted!!! Thank you for the safety of my child, for forgiveness and love, for healing and patience with us, for your wonderful plan for our lives which we only can see when looking back! I am hurting, but I know that something so good will come out of it! You are so GOOD and WONDERFUL and GRACIOUS and FAITHFUL! and You ARE LOVE!!! Please USE me, I am your servant, I am Yours! Let me be a Light shining for You! I LOVE YOU~~!!!

  • ANONYMOUS - Sunday 28th     I see hearts changing for the better, which has been a major request in my prayers. Also Jesus is answering prayers for my daughter, her healing of her lupus, and in a possible "life" partner, coming into my daughters life, who is Christian, and someone we have been praying about for some time.

  • LIAM C/O PHYLLIS - Saturday 20th     Praise and thank God for healing our little grandson, 4 month old, Liam!! There is no doubt that God and God alone healed this precious baby. • Rob and Amy's wedding, c/o Heather (Birmingham) - Sunday 14th       I just want to praise God for such a special day for Rob and Amy and all their family as they got married. Prayers for good weather may not have been answered, but prayers about the day certainly were. The service was wonderful and obviously many people were moved by a sense of God's presence there. I also thank God for the opportunity to meet so many of the prayer partners from this site, and know that Amy and Rob felt supported and loved, and I also want to praise God for answered prayer that Amy was given strength to get through the day and to enjoy it. Most of all I thank God for their marriage, and the answered prayers over the years by all their friends about their relationship, because it is so obvious that God is at the centre of all that they do, and praise God that not only was Amy given physical strength to cope with today, but she shone today with an inner radiance that can only point people to Christ!

  • GERRY - Tuesday 9th     A BIG THANK YOU for this prayer request facility. I have always been a strong believer in the awesome power of prayer. When my father was ill we were told that there was nothing more could be done for him following eighteen months of chemotherapy. He had major cancer. He could not have faced anymore treatment and said so. A month after we were told nothing could be done, his condition went into remission and he lived a further 9 1/2 years. He had many happy times playing with his grandsons!! I try to pray throughout the day whatever I am doing. I know this is not always possible for some people, and it depends on your work, but we should remember that God is there with us all the time, we just need to speak to Him.

July 2005

  • ANONYMOUS - Monday 25th    Lord I just want to thank you for all the prayers you have answered. There are probably more than I realise. Thanks for helping my brother recover from illness, because he doesn't tell me much only you would know lord how ill he was. Thanks for revealing yourself to me over the last 16 months or more, since I committed to following you. Still uncertain about many things but didn't expect all my problems to go away at once, I do know however that all things will work to your good purposes and plans. Thank you for making me realise how fortunate I am in many respects and that it is purely by your grace that I am in this position. Even though I don't fully appreciate it at times, thank you dearly in Jesus name.

  • NINA AND FRIEND - Sunday 24th     Dear Prayer partners, I want to thank God for His faithfulness and wonderful Grace! Nina and friend had a wonderful holiday and everything worked out very well, with Nina saying 'that she could feel the angels around them'!! She came home safe and blessed!
    Thank you dear Lord!

  • PAUL (CHESHIRE) - Sunday 24th   I returned from Indonesia mission on Wednesday.   From the minute I got off the plane over there God was with me mightily.  I landed in Jakarta and caught a taxi to the railway station, whilst there I had to ring up the people I was meeting at the other end of the train journey the telephones there consumed a lot of the money and when I went to buy a train ticket I did not have enough change and they would not accept any other money and nobody could speak a word of English so I prayed and within 5 seconds of praying an Indonesian man who could not speak English tapped me on the back and pointed to the stations listed so I pointed to Surabaya which was a 10 hour train journey and he got his wallet out and paid for me to travel executive class which got me food and drink on the train also.  Praise God - what an answer to prayer. We had vacation bible schools in the morning and afternoons. In one meeting we brought 4 children to the Lord which greatly encouraged us. For the last week we ran an English camp in a school which had some Muslim children in it. At the end of the week we put an appeal out and over 40 children responded. I heard out there of a Muslim man who stayed in a hotel in Jakarta and found a bible left there by the Gideons so he threw it in the bin. Anyway he took it home with him because he did not wish to offend other Muslims.  After a while he got it out and started to read John's gospel.  He then accepted Jesus as his saviour.  During my time out there the Lord has put a call on my life to become a preacher, so I have just sent an application form into bible college - praise God. While out there I heard that a few months back about 60000 Christians went into a stadium and chanted; by the year 2020 Indonesia will belong to Jesus. God is doing some terrific work out there, a clinic is being run from the grounds of a bible college and a Christian doctor and dentist offer to treat Muslims free of charge and people are coming to salvation through this clinic. There was devil worship out there and demonic possession.  About 5 nights I was there I had nightmares so I prayed for protection in the blood of Jesus and slept peacefully afterwards. I would urge anyone to have a go at mission work it is a wonderful experience. Praise God!

  • ANONYMOUS - Saturday 23rd     God has answered my prayer!! I prayed for a support network and have found one in the Children of God. They have even given me a special role as a Fisher of Men! I am replete. Praise be!!

  • ANONYMOUS - Sunday 17th     Thanks to our Lord and Heavenly Father!! Nina and friend had a wonderful time and experienced the 'angels' around them! They are both safely home now! With the Christian Outreach amazing things happened and I would think about 10,000 Bibles and DVD of the Jesus film have been distributed and taken by Muslims in one week! All this in spite of the terrible things happening in London on the 7th! God is just so Great and Wonderful!! Yes, even the stones will call out His Name!! Thank you for your prayers! God bless!
