KRISTEN - Friday 15th
Re: prayer for father of 3 near death
message from his wife... Dear wonderful family and friends, Spencer passed away
at 8:50am. He was surrounded by family & friends as he passed away. It was a
peaceful transition for him. As I drove to the hospital this morning, I realized
that God would work a miracle today. He gave Spencer the peace of mind and
strength of soul to finally let go of his struggle here on earth and move on. We
all know how much of a fighter he was - so for him to finally let go really is a
miracle. We all prayed for a miracle and it was granted. Maybe it is not what we
all hoped for, but we cannot understand God's plan all the time. Thank you for
all your constant and wonderful prayers. Please know they were answered and your
prayers carried Spencer to a place of strength and peace. Your prayers have done
the same for our family. Please continue to pray for Spencer and his soul and to
pray for our family. The coming days will be difficult. We are in the midst of
selecting a cemetery and funeral home. We will keep you posted once plans are
made. The funeral will most likely be Tuesday or Wednesday. With my gratitude
and love, Kristen

ANONYMOUS - Thursday 14th
I asked God to help me find delegates for
my next training course and I can hardly believe that only a couple of weeks
after sending out the literature, I have had 5 bookings. This is such good news
as the course does not run until February and I only need another 5 or so to
make it work really well. I would be so grateful if anyone reading this would
say a prayer for me. I am not able to continue teaching as I have mobility
problems due to M.S., but I am considered an expert in my field and am only too
willing to design and run courses for others. I feel that the Lord is leading me
in this direction and that he is always with me. With God's help I intend to
make a success of this new venture and remain financially independent as long as
possible. Praise be to God.

ANONYMOUS - Tuesday 12th
God has provided for me once more! I was in
need for financial aid for my trip and the Lord has provided more than I thought
I could have! God is marvellous, He is always with me, watching out and helping
me. Thank you those that prayed for me! He hears all!

'GRATEFUL' (California) - Thursday 7th
Shortly after I was widowed I lost my
teaching job. This was an extremely difficult and frightening time for me.
Within a few weeks I was contacted by a rep from the teachers union who told me
that I along with two other teachers had been fired illegally. Although I was
not a union member at that time, the union filed a lawsuit on my behalf.
Meanwhile I went to work elsewhere and did my best to hold my life together.
Eighteen months later I received a settlement from my previous employer. They
may have intended their actions for evil but the Lord meant it for my good.

LORINDA - Wednesday 6th
Wonderful, Gracious Prayer Partners,
Thank you and God Bless you!! You might not believe this... YES you will!! Guess
WHO invited ME to Church last Sunday??? ZACHARY, MY SON, WHO HAS OR HAD A
SERIOUS DRUG PROBLEM!!! We went and had a great time, but... the nasty devil
tried to use family members who know a bit of Zach's history to mess with him.
Apparently there is a cousin who attends this Church who found out that Zach had
spent the evening with one of the Deacons and his wife watching Passion of the
Christ last Friday night. So, she must have said something to this young man. At
any rate, Zach has known the Pastor of the Church since he was little and was on
the Church basketball league... and they love Zach and want him to do well. So,
I do NOT believe that the evil one will have his way. We had a really good time,
he picked ME up and we went, and he is now once again on that ball league!! God
is wonderful, awesome, glorious, the BEST I have not the words to express or
describe how wonderful I feel about this!!! My heart is so happy and it makes me
cry.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR
JULES AND JULIANA. I thank God for you both, you may never know just
how much God has used you to encourage me during one of the darkest times of my
life, I can't tell how much easier things have become since submitting the
prayer request. Thank you. Felt this verse was for you both, "The
prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5 v 16
Serious thanks. God does listen. He has lifted me up. Thank you.

HEATHER (prayerpartner,
Birmingham)
- Monday 27th
Thank you to all who prayed for me on
this last orchestra tour to Spain. I arrived back today, and am thanking and
praising God for His Love and faithfulness! I made it through the tour without
my legs collapsing under me once, although they felt very weak and wobbly on
several occasions and nearly went, but God strengthened me. I was able to play
in all the concerts, and although my hearing was not brilliant due to blocked
sinuses, I was able to fully contribute to the concerts, so I want to give Him
the glory, as well as thanking all the faithful pray-ers on this site! I also
praise Him for sustaining me in what could have been a very difficult situation
at work where I discovered that people were very angry with me for having missed
the last tour due to illness, and missing the 1st concert of the previous tour
when I couldn't manage the stairs-everyone else was exhausted, but they all
managed to go on and play. People, even Christian colleagues, felt very let down
and angry. But I know the devil has been at work distorting the truth and making
people see things about me and in me that are totally untrue: I don't blame them
for this-it is all part of the spirits of deception and malice I sensed have
been at work. However, I found out about how people were feeling through a
wonderful Christian colleague who knew that everything that people were seeing
was untrue and not the real me at all! We prayed together and lifted the veil of
gauze that she felt was covering me, as well as praying very powerfully in the
Spirit about various other issues surrounding all the mistruth and lies.
Normally after the sort of criticisms that were expressed, even by Christians, I
would have gone into victim mode and self blame mode and gone into a deep hole!
But God helped me not to, helped me see who I am in Jesus, and helped me to
carry on as if nothing had happened: Jesus has forgiven me for my sins, and I
was able to forgive those who had wounded me also, only by His Grace! This
friend also helped me see that I do need to think about the bigger picture as
far as the orchestra and my disabilities are concerned, and I would value prayer
that I would know how to move forwards from here so that I am able to continue
doing my job and not letting people down due to the unpredictability of my
health. God also confirmed, with my friend as witness, that at the moment I am
still meant to be doing my job: please pray that I will go on hearing from Him
over how to handle things. My job is a very demanding one physically: 5 hours
playing the violin per day, and lots of travelling!

MURPHY c/o ANONYMOUS - Sunday 26th
Some time ago I asked for prayer for
Murphy in USA. Her cancer has disappeared and she sent this message to her
friends: "I had my check-up on Monday and my doc says that all is well. Altho I
still have fungal pneumonia, it is dormant and my immune system can probably
handle it. They took me off the very strong medication and they expect me to do
fine." Thank you to God for her healing and to the Prayer Partners for their
prayers. Please continue to pray for Murphy's health and her ministry to the
homeless and imprisoned.

for your continued prayers for his salvation, for his mental/physical being and

Thank you God! Thank you for this sale
and our new home. The Love of God unfolds and the Grace of God permeate in all
of our lives - We are truly Blessed! Thank you God for the sale of our house to
the perfect buyer! We are so blessed to have lived in this house and to be
moving to our new home. All are blessed in the transaction process: escrow and
move. We know the outcome is already finished in the Mind of God and we relax
knowing it is unfolding in just the right manner and time. Thank you God
for Jacob's healing of eczema and Ashok's healing of sprained ankle. We
are so blessed to know All is Well and So it is! We have so much gratitude for
answered prayers and all is unfolding under God's guidance. Each part is playing
its role in harmony, perfectly expressing God's Love and Light. We are at Peace
knowing this is a blessing and that it expands into other areas and touches
other lives. We feel the gratitude. Thank you God!

I was unemployed. My mother spent her
lunch break praying in the church. Then that very same afternoon, the phone rang
with a temporary job offer and I have been employed at temp. work ever since!
Now I am praying that the Lord bless me with permanent work and in time, He
will. The Lord always listens and He will bless you even if it is in a way that
you did not expect. His way is the right way. Many blessings to everyone!

BROTHER B - Wednesday 1st
Glory be to almighty GOD for prayer
answered. I submitted a prayer request a week ago after accidentally navigating
to this website (so I thought, truly it was God's guidance) for a successful
performance in my professional examination which I have FAILED six times in the
past. I was at the point where I was a nervous wreck overwhelmed with anxiety
despite adequate preparations. Today, the power of God is my testimony. My
results were released today and I PASSED IN FLYING COLOURS. God has exceeded my
expectations and I am grateful to the prayer warriors. Kindly shout Alleluia
three times on my behalf to our living God. To God, all things are possible
through Jesus Christ our savior, our strength and redeemer. Amen.

TEEN - Sunday 29th
Dear Fellow lovers of Christ, I thank
you for your prayers. I have started my lexapro last night and today I feel
great. I know that it'll take time for my continued healing, but only through

blessings in my life. Trust, trust the Lord our God with all my heart and mind.

ANONYMOUS - Sunday 29th
I prayed for healing for my daughter and
prayed especially that there be nothing seriously wrong with her. Her bilirubin
level was raised, she was unwell and missing a lot of school. The whites of her
eyes were showing yellow but she had tested negative for mono. She was referred
to a gastroenterologist but when I rang his secretary she told me that the
appointment could be as far away as after Christmas. I managed to find the money
for a private consultation, which was yesterday. The whites of her eyes are
beginning to clear and the consultant is not concerned about the bilirubin
level. She probably has a harmless syndrome which means that her bilirubin will
go up under certain circumstances including, stress, infection and illness. It
is probably that her recurrent bouts of tonsillitis have left her with a low
grade infection. She is to have more tests but all the signs are good
although she may have to have her tonsils taken out at some stage in the future.
I praise and thank God for this good news. There are many serious conditions
that could have caused the jaundice but it seems these are not suspected or even
being tested for. My daughter is gradually feeling better and once the
next round of tests come back she will probably be able to start a course of
antibiotics to clear the low grade infection. I thank you Lord being with us
through this difficult time and for the wisdom and expertise of the consultant.
I ask you to stay close to us. In Jesus name, Amen

ANONYMOUS - Monday 23rd
I have asked for prayers for a job
situation where one person got a very good opportunity but it was to resign a
job where they have put a lot of effort in for him to get the first job, so it
was a difficult situation, but believed the 2nd job was truly made possible by
God but he had to work a 6 months notice which would have made it impossible to
start the new job in January. We just prayed and asked for prayer support in
this matter as it was extremely difficult as it has to do with friendship too! A
week after I placed the request, the boss of the first job phoned to say that he
has someone that can start immediately in the current job!!!! PRAISE BE TO
GOD!!! ISN'T IT JUST AMAZING?? We now believe more than ever that this second
opportunity is truly from God and that HE IS FAITHFUL!! Thank you very much and
lots of blessings!!!

After many months of a challenging
situation for us with our tenant, we have heard today that she has received
money that was owing to her and is able to pay us, and also begin to set her
other debts straight. She has also found a new place to live because she
has had trouble with the neighbours. We have always been trying to do what
Jesus would have done for her, including offering her extra time in the flat,
even though we had no guarantee of receiving the rent. She is now very
grateful to us, and we are thankful that God gave us the courage to be
compassionate even though our agents and others suggested we kick her out.
Thanks, Lord for your love for her, and her family, and please protect them and
guide them as they move to a new place.

Glory be to God! I have prayed
hard and long, submitted a prayer request and it has been answered! My husband

the affair was short, it was devastating to me, to us. But with faith in God we

ANONYMOUS - Sunday 8th
Hello. Yesterday I submitted my
first ever prayer request. I am the woman who worked on a business project with
someone for 15 months only to have it pulled out from under me the first two
weeks we were open by the other manager that we hired. Well, yesterday after I
submitted the prayer request, a couple of the employees called to tell me that
they were quitting that they could not stand by and watch this new manager get
away with what he did. So my prayers are starting to be answered. I have still
not heard from the owner yet. I want him to call me and ask me back and this
time make it official that I am part owner and that he is going to put the new
manager in his place. If that is your will Dear Lord then please let it happen
quickly as I am so broken hearted right now. Thank you everyone for
putting me and my prayer requests in your prayers. Amen. May God bless all
of you as well.

God has been so wonderful to me
and my Fiancé. God has answered my prayers. God does answers prayers. About two
months ago, my Fiancé was in prison for something he did not do. I pray and pray
and put in prayer request all the time. And then all of a sudden a miracle
happen. A lawyer came reduced his bail and got him out of prison. He is free. I
had bad phone connection calling to Nigeria to talk to my Fiancé I prayed and
prayed again and put in prayer request. And again my prayer was answered. When I
called my Fiancé we could hardly hear each other and his metro was always so bad
and then one day we had good connection ever since. He lost all of his money in
a house fire so I prayed and prayed to God that he would help me to get the
money that I need to help my Fiancé come over to my destination. And all of a
sudden my x gave me money to help my Fiancé come over. God is so wonderful. And
now my Fiancé is by the cruise ship waiting to come over to me but the cruise
ship is waiting for the waves to calm down and again I put in prayer request so
that God will make the waves calm down and the cruise ship is taking off so my
Fiancé can come home to me. And no storms and hurricanes. Thank you God for
answering my prayers.

This is incredible story. 5 years
of severe loneliness. And I had been crying for 5 years to move back to San
Francisco. No money. It looked like an impossible situation. I felt like too
much had happened to stay here. I was losing my mind with a double conflict. I
wouldn't move forward with my life here. I cried so much.... Then today,
everything changed. Not only do I have a companion, but I get to relocate to
Pacifica. My most favorite place of all thank you for your prayer of
agreement. Yahoo!

ANONYMOUS - Wednesday 27th
I want to praise the Lord. It was only a
few weeks ago I was in despair about my relationship, I was so down hearted
that my mum got me to post a prayer request on this site. I gave all my
worries and troubles over to God, not really knowing what to expect, but being
hopeful and faithful to his word. I had broken up with my partner and it was
so so hard, because he didn't feel he could commit to me. Thank you for all
your prayers because on Sunday night he turned up outside my church and
proposed!!! WOW for God nothing is impossible, my fiancé was even shocked at
his own courage, so it is all thanks to God, praise his name. Thank you.

TRISH - Tuesday 19th
Thanks to everyone who said a
prayer for me. I have had to drop my teaching down to 3 days a week because of
mobility problems due to multiple sclerosis. The real problem is that I am the
breadwinner in the family so I have been starting to run training courses for
other teachers but there had been little response to the literature I sent
out. It looked like I was once again going to have to cancel the course.
However - I now have enough people to run the course and there are still 2
weeks to go. Also I was having problems with the venue that I had booked but
today I found another venue, much cheaper and actually more suitable for my
purposes. THANKS BE TO GOD!

BILL - Monday 18th
I want to thank everyone for their
prayers for my husband, Bill. He lost his job after 21 years. It was a total
shock. He sank into a state of depression. After much praying, and studying
his word, he finally forgave those responsible, and felt at peace about what
had happened. He found a new job, and it is even better than the last one. It
pays a little less, but it's not as stressful. We know that this is now what
God had in mind for him to do, and we were willing to give it all up to follow
wherever He was going to lead us. Thank you again for all of your prayers,
during that dark, difficult time period. Praise God.

ANONYMOUS - Friday 8th
We went through a harrowing time
in June, July and August when my husband was forced to resign his job within 5
months of his joining the firm. Added to this was the exorbitant house rent,
electricity charges, school fees and the fact that we had been driven out of
our home by my parents in March. Moreover a Christian family who had
originally introduced us to Jesus suddenly withdrew from us ( maybe they did
not want to associate with someone who had lost house, job etc.) and we were
left all alone with no help or friends and no church also. At that time, in
desperation, I turned to the internet sites offering to pray and many prayer
warriors prayed for us without even knowing who we were. Thanks to all those
thousands of prayers and the great grace of God, my husband got a job from Sep
1st in a good firm and he is happy. Though the salary is half of what he was
getting, the people and boss treat him well and the work is not very fast
paced. I would like to thank everyone who! prayed for us during this difficult
time and praise the good Lord for rescuing us in time. Praise the Lord.

Dear brothers and sisters in
Christ. Am soo glad as a write this answer to prayer. All glory to God. I had
submitted a prayer request to pray for Issa, a small boy who underwent two
surgeries. I thank God soo much because he was discharged from hospital on
Saturday 2nd September after being in hospital for two weeks. He is now well
and remaining just a bit to recover fully. His parents also managed to pay
hospital bill which was over two hundred thousand. We serve a faithful God.
Thank you so much for praying for him and God bless you abundantly and also
answer your personal prayers.

ANONYMOUS - Friday 1st
Way back in June 2004, I placed a
prayer request after my g/f had called of our relationship, leaving me in
disarray and sadness, and I allowed myself to fall into depression. For so
long I questioned God, questioned his wisdom and even became bitter against
God and everyone. However one night God spoke to me and showed me his plan for
my life, he also reminded me that he wants to prosper me, not harm me. So I
picked myself up, threw myself back into his work and remained faithful. I am
not marrying a fiancée next august 07, we are both now youth pastors in our
church, and are planning a missionary trip to Hati next year. God will never
let you down, and even thought you might not get the answer you want when you
want it, he will always see you through!

UPDATE
LIZ c/o HEATHER (Birmingham) - Wednesday 16th
Praise God that the right paperwork was
found to prove Liz's partner's identity and that he is not an illegal
immigrant! So although the wedding has had to be postponed by a week, praise
God that the wedding can still go ahead. However, I saw Liz last weekend, and
although she is in good spirits, she is deteriorating, so please continue to
pray for her, for a clear mind and daily strength, and that even at this late
stage maybe God can heal her. Please also continue to pray for her friend
Nicky, who is exhausted with the extra strain of helping with Liz's care and
looking after her own 4 children and 2 others, that she will be given strength
to cope emotionally and physically, and that her pain levels will ease.

TRICIA - Tuesday 15th
I recently (and repeatedly) asked people
to pray for my young teenage daughter who told me she was attracted to other
girls and thought she was a lesbian. She has been chatting to me and although
she hasn't exactly said that she was wrong, or brought home a boyfriend, she
has said things that let me know God is with her and helping her to work
through this. She did say to me "I think things are going to work out ok" and
she has been making comments which included teasing her dad about when she
gets married. I do ask that you continue to pray for her. Thank you Father for
your loving kindness and for letting me know that you are with my daughter.
Thank you also to everyone who prayed for her. In Christ,

I am utterly amazed at how wonderful our
Heavenly Father put everything in place for us when we moved from SA to
Norwich...it is absolutely the right time! the right place the right people to
share the Love of God with, whom became immediately a support system and
family in Christ for us! Our little house is big enough to receive guests and
the sea is near enough to go there when ever I feel like walking on the beach.
all these everyday little things that God had planned for us in advance! I
feel totally at home and am waiting to see where and how God is going to use
me to serve Him in this new place He has brought us to! I praise You Lord and
I worship You as my Creator, Provider, Protector, the Lover of my soul and my
Heavenly Wonderful Father!! Thank you sooo very very much! Use me please as I
belong to You! You are the only meaning to life and love and everything that
is Good my only HOPE! I praise You Lord!!!

AMY (prayerpartner,

Dear friends. I had a nasty back incident
last Saturday and it felt like a major set-back to my three year progress.
Thanks so much to all who have emailed me or who have prayed this week, or
both! Several people have asked for an update, so here it is, to encourage you
in your intercessions. God is good! On Monday I felt very downhearted
and wanted to ask our vicar's wife to come round and pray with me, but felt I
shouldn't take up her time. However, she was obviously listening to God, rang
me later and asked if I'd like her to pray with me! She came round, listened
and prayed both for physical improvement and also for hope.
On Tuesday I 'phoned the physio. dpt. in Birmingham, hoping for an appt. My
physio. rang me back a few hours later (he normally takes at least a week!),
and could fit me in on Thursday - most unusual! In the afternoon I bumped into
a fantastic lady of 92 from Priors Marston, as I went on a mammoth walk to the
post office (so it felt!), and she was most cross that I was back on crutches,
and said she would pray for me right now (as she crossed the road, hopefully
with her eyes open). During the afternoon my pain decreased significantly and
forward mobility also.
On Wednesday a wonderful couple from Church rang to let me know that they have
decided to go to New Wine the same week as Rob and me, and will be taking
their caravan. They have so kindly offered to give me a key to their caravan,
so that when I am on site during the day I will have a refuge to go back to to
rest, in between seminars / other events. What a huge blessing, as I was
wondering how on earth I would manage the 10 days there, and thought I might
end up just staying in the B&B!
Today (Thursday) I had better mobility in the morning than Wednesday, and then
went to the physio. (thanks to my dad - ever faithful taxi driver). The physio
checked me for obvious bad signs, concluding that it was not a disc problem.
He was then able to move me around and encourage the muscle spasms to relax a
fair bit. He has given me some excellent exercises and already it is
considerably better. He says that this is a 'hiccough' rather than a nose dive
in my progress. The problem was that the smallest injury caused a big chain
reaction in my back, which now recognises pain too well, and sends messages to
all the muscles to seize up, to the point where I could barely walk and not
move forward at all. He reckons that I can now 'tell the body who's boss' and
through the exercises undo the spasm. He says this is reasonably common - they
describe it as 'lancerating' pain, and is a massive pain response to a
relatively small injury. I am much relieved, and have much more hope.
So, that is a long way of saying 'thank you' for praying and to testify to
answered prayer in all of the above incidents. Bless you - and please keep
praying for return to where I was, and even more - to full health???

JASON - Wednesday 5th
I asked for prayer for a beautiful dog I
have to find a good home to be adopted into. God is awesome, he brought a home
with a yard and another dog but the owner came to pick Miles up and was
wearing a Prayer of Jabez tshirt! Praise God, how cool he is, thanks so much!
