Friday 30th

 

• ANONYMOUS     Hello God, may I pray some things off my chest please? I am very distressed and broken. Please God may the person in authority listen to my complaint, please can JF be called to account, especially for her latest attack through T. I am left devastated, not least by the lie being told. Please can MT and BK be removed from authority before they harm another vulnerable person. Please can PW take responsibility for actions, and also JH, NB, and a particular group of people, in case I sound like a whiner, all of these people are connected to a church abuse case in which the church protected the abusers. Pray for people destroyed by church abuse please. Amen.
   

• ANONYMOUS     Dear God, I am so broken, please send the superglue, and please look after me, I might at a pinch start behaving myself if You return to right the injustices, and I pray that the prayer team don't get annoyed by my flippant attitude and delete this because I am not really flippant, just terribly terribly wounded and distressed and afraid, and how come elephants can't fly?

• ANDREW      I ask you to pray that my chest and breathing returns to normal, and that I can exercise (walking, running, cycling) without a problem in my lungs. I think I have developed some form of asthma after a chest infection and the antibiotics I was on, and therefore as you to pray that this asthma disappears. I ask you that I can recover from the antibiotics, which have made me feel worse than when I had the chest infection. I pray that I can be rid of toxins, and live a clean, healthy life. • BARBARA     In the Strong Name of Jesus, I pray for my sister Barbara, who is to be admitted to hospital Monday 3rd May for surgery 4th May. We pray that the surgery to replace or repair a heart valve and the ablation is entirely successful, We pray that she will be without infection and that she is discharged from hospital at the earliest possible time and that she makes a full and speedy recovery. We ask Lord that you also comfort her husband Clive, and also our mother who at 93 years is frail and frightened for her daughter, We pray Lord that the entire family is considerate of Barbara and that the right decisions are made. Amen.

 

• JEANNE     My name is Jeanne, I am going through many court Trials and battles for the custody of my children. Please pray That God's will be done and my children are returned to me and for God to shine his light upon my family in every area of our life for restoration and blessings of all things and true miracles. Also please pray that everything that has been stolen from me by the devil is restored. e.g., my health, my children, my finances. Please pray that I find favour with work related issues and that I find favour with the insurance company dealing with my claim and the police in the arson matter. Many thanks.

 

• ANONYMOUS     Can I please ask you to pray for my mum, she has been ill for about a month and has gone to see a specialist. please pray that God will heal her from all her trouble and pain. She is a strong Christian and we are all praying for her.  Thank you and God bless you. Can I also ask you to pray for my boyfriend, I am a Christian but my boyfriend is not. I have been praying for 4 years for him to become a Christian. I pray that my Lord Jesus would reveal Himself to him. I believe that My Lord Jesus can change my boyfriend, Jesus changed Saul, changed Matthew, changed Zachias and I know he will change my boyfriend. I love my boyfriend very much and we want to get married but I want him to be a Christian before I marry him. So please can you pray for me and my boyfriend? I'm in tears everyday asking God to change his heart and soul and mind. Thank you very much and may God bless you.

• E c/o ANONYMOUS     Please Pray for E. She is a single mum. She divorced last year after years of abuse. Please pray for this lady. She finds life hard on her own. She has met a lovely man. Please pray that this relationship will work out. And that God will answer our prayers that she has someone to share her life with. She is a special person. Please pray , she deserves to be happy. Amen.
   

• ANONYMOUS     Please pray for my financial situation. I've accumulated so much debt this last week, unfortunately didn't have enough in my bank (my husband left so it's my income alone now) I've been hit with so many overdraft bank fees (almost $600! nsf fees are around $50/transaction!) Plus I still have to pay the bills I accidentally bounced (so about $1200 all together!) Please pray I can get some more clients so I can pay this off. my next pay cheque will be going into this debt, since I only have one bank account. I wont have enough for my rent in a few days, or to feed my children. we're on our last crumbs already. Please pray for my financial situation!
   

• HUSBAND & ANONYMOUS     Please pray for my husband who seems to have been led into a sinful lifestyle over the last few months. It seems to be getting worse, and now believe adultery has been committed. Please pray for the holy spirit to return to him and give him such extreme guilt, that the lifestyle and women he's lusting for now turn to disgust, so he may turn away and turn to God. Please pray that he may get such an urge to confess and turn from this, His kids and his wife miss him, he is no longer the husband or father we once knew. Please pray for God t reach out and speak to him.

• ANONYMOUS     When I was much younger (aged about 14) I made a couple of really bad choices; I chose to do bad instead of good. Because of my actions then, 2 beautiful people stand to get really hurt. It's no certainty that they will but there is a chance of my actions causing them great pain. If I could go back in time I would never have acted in such a way and I have lived with such regret and self hatred for my terrible choices. I would like to request prayers that these two very special people will not be hurt by my actions in the past. They are such wonderful people and they do not deserve to suffer at my hands. I pray for mercy for these two special people. Thank you.

UNITY between different ages, races, and backgrounds. Pray for God's MANIFEST PRESENCE to rest on the cell group... we're asking God to OPEN UP THE HEAVENS and POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT on the CELL TEAM, that we'd be EQUIPPED and EMPOWERED to reach the lost. Pray for the gifts of the Spirit to be stirred up within each of the TEAM. Specifically, the gifts of HEALING, the PROPHETIC and the WORD OF KNOWLEDGE (I Corinthians 12:4-11, 14:24-25). • R     Please pray for R who recently suffered an ectopic pregnancy and nearly died, as well as having a massive cyst on one of her ovaries. She got to surgery just in time and is now recovering, but had to go back to work before she was fully recovered for financial reasons. Since the operation she has not slept and she has also developed a hernia so is in a lot of pain. Please pray that she will start to sleep properly, that God will comfort her over her loss, and that she will know His healing both physically and emotionally. I am also really worried that she might collapse through sheer exhaustion, so please pray that God will give her the strength she needs to get through each day, and that if she needs further medical help to help her sleep, she will get a sympathetic hearing from whoever she sees. (She is not a Christian as far as I know, so please also pray that she will somehow be drawn to God during this difficult time).

I have lost a lot of weight and I am feeling very ill today but they haven't found the problem yet. Monday 26th

 

• TRICIA c/o ANONYMOUS     Please pray for my friend Tricia. She has the most beautiful singing voice and uses it to worship God. She is currently off work, because the docs have told her that she will permanently lose her voice if she does not rest it. She's very depressed at this news and has been unwell with it for weeks and weeks. I sent the above request at the end of March. Tricia returned to work last week and on Sunday, she worshipped with a perfect voice. Thank you God.

 

• ANONYMOUS     Please pray for my w cleaner friend will come to Christ. He has taken many tracts and seems to be interested but he is under the illusion that he thinks as long someone is good, they can be saved. We are saved by Christ only. He is involved in a spiritual group who call the dead and I pray in the name of Jesus that cannot stop my friend from being saved. Please pray that I can witness to him more effectively and that maybe he is interested in going to church. In Jesus name Amen

 

• ANONYMOUS     Thank you for praying. I plan on moving to Florida in a few days. I have been asked to “teach the teachers how to teach”. I am excited about the move. God has put it into my heart to see a Church Planting Movement which is birthed out of prayer and fasting. A CPM is thousands of churches planted per year on a global scale with disciples made. This year we will expand from the Philippines into the Pacific Rim of the 10/40 Window to where most of the world’s unreached people groups are located. Also, I am being asked to travel to Africa this year. My daughter is Micah and she is 23. She is single and she said her goal is to “Pray full time and to work part time”. I am very proud of her. She has a goal to serve as a missionary aviation pilot. She said, “I’m anxious for the day when we (as in me), are done with entertainment and done with giving the Lord leftovers and we are so consumed with fire that we would rather live in the desert eating locust than to be apart from His presence. I’m not even close. Lord do it in me”. It is the inevitability of increasing gas prices that alternative energy sources will become increasingly important. I have a friend who is marketing Hydrogen Fuel Cells that will increase fuel effectiveness and horsepower and save up to 50% on one’s gas mileage. It is safe and environmentally friendly. Please pray for Mike and Joy. They have a goal to expand globally. I have a friend in Asia who is working with international bankers for a breakthrough for the Christians on global scale and his name is Jim. Many are praying for a major breakthrough along these lines, now you have a name.

Since I was 15 everything was good until my best friends moved away and my grandfather who raised me died after my friends left, and my world just started to fall apart. At the age of 17 I was involved in a relationship with a guy who was 24 who was with another girlfriend, I was so naive as he was my first love, he took my virginity forcefully, I did not report him I loved him so much I didn’t want to lose him so I forgave him, later on through the relationship he ended it with me because he wanted to go to his other lover, he came back a year later and I fell pregnant. He forced me to abort the child that I loved and he left once again to go back to the same woman he left me for, he had affairs with other women and flaunted them before me. The second guy I was with after him was similar he left me for his previous girlfriend although he was a Christian and seemed to have a relationship with God he really made me look like a fool in front of his family and my family, his family knew he was with someone at the time he was dating me and he continued to lead me on I have become a byword among those who hate me, they laugh and mock me because of this. And now I have been left with nothing but a broken heart. I just want God to heal my broken heart and to help me forgive myself 4 the bad choices I made and for him to give me a good husband and a good marriage. After the abortion I really want to have a baby but I want to do things the Godly way which is getting married to the right person God intended for me and then having a children, please pray 4 me.

• BILLY & DKY     Please pray to keep my family together. My husband Billy (aged 45) and I have been happily married for 24 yrs. He has been working away from home for the last 18 mths, and coming home at the weekends. He has been suffering from depression. He has told me he feels he does not love me anymore and we have grown apart. He does not like himself and feels he is not a good husband and I deserve someone better. He also feels we have nothing left beyond our three daughters. This has come as a complete shock to both me and our family. His depression stems from events in his childhood and whilst serving in the armed forces in N.Ireland 20 yrs ago and Iraq 7yrs ago. He has just recently started counselling but it is early days yet. My husband said he has not met anyone else but feels our marriage has ended. I know he is not himself and my children feel this way too. Please pray he can get through this and he will make the right decision. We love him dearly and hate to see him like this. I am willing to wait no matter how long he takes but it is breaking my heart and I don't know how long I will have the strength to keep going.

• SARAH S    I recent months, I wrote into your site to ask for prayer concerning a man's salvation. I thank you for the help to pray for him, and am writing to ask for continued prayer in regard to this man named Bill. Please pray with me for his salvation, and for those in his life who don’t know Jesus, or how much He truly loves them. I am not in a position to witness to this man personally, but others have been contacted to this regard. Please ask the Lord to extend His spirit to facilitate and lead a conversational witness through anyone whom He may choose. Please ask God to extend His grace toward Bill, doing everything needed to protect him, chase him, overcome his pride, lift the veil from his eyes, bring conviction to his heart and show him his need for a Savior. Like us all, Bill has made some mistakes, and has unfortunately had some tragic things to happen in his life. I fear his heart has hardened. He, and his loved ones need knowledge about God's love, His grace, His glory, His offer of forgiveness, healing, deliverance, and protection--especially now because at this time Bill needs release from addictive vulnerabilities, depression, and is in danger of influence by unbelievers (who also need prayer) whose worldly beliefs stand in opposition to God's word. Please ask the Lord to surround Bill with believers who can minister to him, and that He may use the challenges Bill has endured to further the kingdom and lead him to salvation; then, that others will see and also be pointed to Christ by what God does in Bill's life.

  * I ask that prayer please continue in regard to Bill. For a while, Bill seemed to be a recovered (or recovering) addict. He's reverted back into heavy use of alcohol and possibly recreational drugs. Please pray for him. Please pray for his salvation, and that God will do whatever it takes to bring him back to sobriety and away from drugs. Please pray that Bill will be brought to look at his life, it's state, and face the fact that he has a real problem. Once this happens, please pray God will have a shepherding witness waiting there who can show him the better way in a Savior who loves him, and doesn't come in a bottle.
  * Bill's orthopaedic issue seems to have healed ahead of schedule. This is something to praise God, and thank Him for. Thanks for prayers to that regard.

• STEPHEN    Pray that God bails me out. I seem to have targets that I want to achieve which I strongly believe I can achieve. However, I don't seem to pursue my heart's desires/targets as I should yet I have one life. I don't want to regret when I am old that I didn't pursue my targets. • ANONYMOUS     Dear God, bless us today and every day. We pray for our older daughter, that she may stand on her own two feet financially and not keep asking us for money. We have given her plenty. Now she should stand on her own two feet, and also ask for a contribution from her fiance who is supposed to help her regularly. Please help her and help us Lord God. We thank you. • ANONYMOUS     Please pray for me as I earnestly seek for a male Christian partner. I have always remind myself that I will wait because God has gone to prepare the way at the moment I send my prayer to Him. But I can't help feeling disappointed as I have waited for a year for that somebody in mind to appear or to approach me. The longer I waited, the more doubts I have for myself. Most of my Christian sisters are still unmarried or single, only a few are blessed with a family or a mate, this make me really think if God's really busy with the rest still and yet to be my turn. Despite me having to get to know a quite nice guy in my cell group, I have problems to start off a conversation with him, either he's too quiet or I'm too shy with him. I really pray to God that He will come to intervene and make the setting right for both of us to begin with some casual talks and later to deepen our friendship. God had made one miracle last Christmas because both of us drew lots and picked each other's name to exchange our presents. How great if God can intervene to make more miracles.

• MOTHER (Mexico) c/o ANONYMOUS     I just found from my dad that last night my mother had a heart attack and was taken to a hospital in Cuernavaca Mexico. Please pray that if God does not allow her body to heal and for her to continue in this life a bit longer that at least before she dies she will repent to Him and accept the atonement of Jesus asking Him to save her so that her eternal soul may be saved from damnation. May God have mercy upon her soul. It is so sad to think about this now. Very sad. I love her and her eternal soul, may she repent and be saved.

The nurse said if she could only get proper nutrition, she is sure that she would rally. As it is she keeps getting these infections. They have now decided to do an insert to tube feed her. Please pray for healing and that she will regain her strength to be able to be healed and to go home again. In Jesus Name I pray thanking God for His Powerful Name and for His will be done.
