  • SON c/o SUE & IAIN     I am struggling to cope with my 17 year old son. He was badly bullied as a small boy and he grew up with an abusive father. I am now divorced and remarried to a very kind man who treats my son with a lot of patience but we are struggling to cope with the stress of my sons mental health problems, drug taking and depression. He recently dropped out of college after only 6 months and is out all night and sleeps all day. When in a rage he is very frightening. We would dearly love a child together but are terrified about how my son would react. We desperately need some peace and to see my son healed, whole and at peace too. He knows and loves Jesus but is very scarred. Thankyou for your prayers, Sue and Iain.
     

  • ANONYMOUS     Please would you pray about our financial situation. We have always tithed and God has been faithful but lately we find ourselves overdrawn every month by the amount we have tithed. There is no other outgoing expense to cut back on and in order to tithe today the last of our money has gone in the collection. Help! We're trying to believe Gods promises in Micah but faith is waning! Thank you
     

  • LOREN c/o ANONYMOUS     Loren, aged 36 and a Christian, is in desperate need of spiritual and emotional healing. Her mind and spirit is broken, as a result of childhood sexual abuse (by female) and rejection experienced from her father. She needs to find a safe place in Father God's heart and to experience His father's love, bringing healing to the immense love deficit. Symptoms worst at present, are nightly demonic torment, inability to think rationally and to distinguish between truth and lies. Also needs support of local Christians.
     

  • SHANE & CLAUDINE c/o ANONYMOUS     Shane and Claudine need healing in their marriage, which has suffered the affects of childhood sexual abuse, in Claudine's life. There needs to be a healing of trust, not only between them, but in God as Father, as well. They both need to encounter the Father's love and to be reconciled to Him. (There's a prevailing 'orphan spirit'). Shane feels that God is calling him into ministry and there's been a growing discontentment in his present line of work. He needs to know God's leading and when 'to go'.

Saturday 30th

 

  • SARAH     I'm so ashamed. I have been praying for something for a long time, something some people might see as trivial, but precious to me. I hadn't gotten what I was asking for, and today I was just downright mean to God. I reminded him of the verse in Matthew where it says whatever we pray for in the name of Jesus He will do.....and when I didn't get what I was asking for, I told God His word came back to me empty. I will face the truth, what I did was evil because I called God a liar. Not in direct words, but for all intensive purposes, it's what I did. I know I broke His heart. Now mine is broken too, and I feel twice is bad because He brought what I'd been praying for today, even after the horrible way I treated Him. Please ask God to forgive me. I love Him, and it hurts me to know I have hurt Him. Jesus is so precious to me, and what I did was just terrible.

 

  • ANONYMOUS     Hi, Pls pray with me that I may find a marriage partner soon and lead a spiritually abundant and happy married life. I am struggling to keep my faith alive and need a prayer partner and to be surrounded by a family filled with the Lord's love. Pls also pray for my parents and my sister's family that they may receive Lord Jesus as their Lord and saviour and enter the Kingdom of heaven. Thank you for your prayers.
     

  • ANDREW     I ask you to pray that I get the correct treatment as soon as possible before it is too late. I pray that I can find the correct treatment that will make me feel better indefinitely, getting rid of the terrible symptoms I am experiencing. I really need a miracle.

  • ANONYMOUS     Please pray something for me, I would really like to do a University course, but I cannot afford the fees, I am outside the UK so I cannot get funding and I cannot afford Open University fees, I would be academically able to do a degree and have always deeply wanted to, please pray that I will be able to put money aside or get a grant so I can do a degree, it would be so wonderful if I could.

  • DAVID c/o ANONYMOUS     Dear Lord Jesus, please protect my son David and be at his side always, please help to cure him of his autism and to do well at school and to be confident and do well at college, please help him in his understanding, and help him to be safe and to be aware of everything when he is out in the world. May he be a bright and successful young man who is well loved and please keep him safe and protect him from all harm Lord look after him always whatever he may do and wherever he may go, keep him safe, and keep him happy Lord, amen.
     

  • ANONYMOUS     Dear Lord bless my son pip for having an answer to my prayer with knowing someone who will mend my car, may he himself get better and help him to do well in his life and be happy, help my grandson Franky to get better and keep free from colds and chesty coughs, and may his mum Kay get better and keep in good health, help them as a family, and help me to be able to help them as well, bless them all and keep them safe, amen.

  • ANONYMOUS     My dad passed away. I mentioned about Jesus with him, but I never prayed with him to Jesus. I am not sure whether he will be saved by Jesus Christ. Although I believe God works beyond times and in ways we can't imagine, but I can't be sure. Please pray that God give me a sign to tell me he is, if God wants to reveal it to me. And that my dad's funeral is a Taoist funeral, please pray that I can still be a good witness for Jesus Christ.

  • BZ     Please pray that WHATEVER IS NECESSARY will happen to humble my ELDEST DAUGHTER and 2nd YOUNGEST DAUGHTER so they will RETURN to LOVING JESUS with ALL her heart and DAILY MAKING JESUS LORD over EVERY AREA of HER LIFE. PRAY that EVERY STRONGHOLD in her mind THAT HAS EXALTED ITSELF above CHRIST would BE DISMANTLED and BROUGHT DOWN. Pray that she forgive and DAILY WALK CONTINUALLY in FORGIVENESS. PRAY that DAILY SHE HUNGER for JESUS and having fellowship at church and Christian fellowship. Pray that GOD HEAL HER, SET her free from being a VEGAN and help her to eat normally again and EXCEL at FINISHING her UNIVERSITY. Please pray ALSO my 2nd youngest daughter would daily get greater and greater hunger to know JESUS and return to making HIM DAILY LORD of her life. Pray that daily she will desire to fellowship with other Christians and weekly come to church. Pray that every weapon formed against her will never prosper and SHE WILL FULFIL the call on her life.  Thanks.

  • WORD FOR YOU ANONYMOUS     Please God, do something about the church cover-up, especially the way they used the press against me and the way the church safeguarding director has attacked me even though she has seen the results of the police case, please God do something about this terrible terrible injustice that has broken me, please remove from power those who supported my lying abusers against me and shunned me from the church and warned the church against me, I am disabled, I was taken advantage of by church leaders who had already been moved on from another church for misconduct, the abusers have got off lightly and think this is all a joke, while I am utterly destroyed and even my faith in God has gone, please please please pray, the safeguarding officer calls me bitter and tells me my abusers are 'Christians who get things wrong' despite the fact that they have been round maligning me and lying, which is nothing to do with Christianity, I am simply unable to rebuild and because the safeguarding officer validates my attackers and their supporters, I am receiving no support from the church.

Please, please God, for Your Name's sake, come and untangle this horrible mess and intervene where people here have taken Your Name in vain, and used their positions in the church to behave wrongly. I beg that You will help, amen.

 

  • KERRIE     PLEASE CAN U JOIN ME IN FAITH THAT MY DAUGHTER WILL BE FREE FROM BULLY AT SCHOOL. AND GOD TO HEAL HER X AND ME FROM THE HURT IT HAS CAUSED. WE DO FORGIVE THOSE WHOM HAVE BULLIED. Monday 25th

 

  • BOYFRIEND & ANONYMOUS     Please pray for me and for my boyfriend. He is experiencing incredible stress from his soon to be ex wife and he is also trying to lose weight. Please give me the strength and the wisdom to endure this very difficult situation and please give me the strength and the patience to be of help to him and to be supportive and to not burden him with my sadness. I love him so very much.
     

  • KONNY-HANNAH     Hi ,I wish to continue a legal battle for financial compensation due to injusice which was done to me right from birth. It still affects me in all vital areas of life for almost five decades. Please, support me in prayer and intercession, since lawyers/ clerks/civil servants tried to intimidate me and I am very scared. At the moment, I volunteered for a internship, which means, for four weeks I will have to work on a highly specialized topic with no pay at all. Please, pray, that there will be good (financial) outcome in the end-through following contracts or that there will be a visible blessing for my child and me after years of poverty, fear, loneliness etc.. Thanks.

  • ANONYMOUS     My preaching is rubbish. The way I preach is rubbish. I'm fed up of it. I thought I was relying on you, it's obvious that I'm not. God help please. I'm not after pats on the back and compliments. I just want to be effective. Forgive me, for when I give in, I hate them, make me hate them enough to stop and turn to you. Use me please to glorify you, not those who think they can make me a better person. God please. I tried today with B, it felt like it went in one ear and out the other. God tomorrow, help. I'm going to be up all night, I should have been prepared. Forgive me.

Our prayers may also bring someone in distress during this crisis, whether on the island itself or some other place in the world waiting to hear from loved ones there, to a saving faith in Christ so they are as critical now as ever.   • BALA & SILVANA (Canada)     I live in Victoria BC Canada. God spoke to me two years ago with my husband Bala to move here. Bala and I have gone under a lot of persecution when we first met. We met in 2005 and dated for a year got persecuted for being Christians then we decide to get married. For the last 3 years we have been happy off and on. A lot of fighting and arguing. Sometimes its something that we can prevent ourselves but other times we can see clearly that's it's the devil. God has spoken to the both of us about going in the ministry together but I feel the devil is always trying to do something in this marriage. Right now my husband says he wants to separate from me and for silly reasons which is why I know it's satan. He left the house and when I came home he was gone but he is still talking to me through online communication. But he keeps saying he wants to leave me but I know that's not God's will, the devil is working hard.   • CHRISTINA     (From Christina) Our dear friend, Dr James has treated over 70 deaf people in Kolkat and Visak, India & they all got their hearing back. The Lord is doing miracles!!!!!!!!!! Note: Dr. James is a Korean holistic/herbalist/acupuncturist Dr. who has a gift of healing for the deaf. He told us someone asked if he could help a deaf person & he said, ‘I don’t know, I’ll try’. The Lord showed him where to insert the needles. They were healed, and that was the beginning of his healing ministry. He volunteers his time and pays his own way to heal the deaf in poor countries so that he can tell them about Jesus. Christina met him and has been ministering to him and went to India with him where they are presently working with the missionaries in India who have been doing a deaf ministry there. Prayer request: Dr James started having breathing problems & has developed a bad cough after being in a very poor island off of Bangladesh for a week called Sunderbans because of the pollution, etc. They had floods a while back and its in terrible condition. He is really sick with infected gums from his run down condition and I am worried about him. Pls pray for him, thanks. A 71 year old Dr., (father of an Bible study member) a top heart surgeon here has not been working for 10 yrs because of hearing loss. He got his hearing back after the treatment tonight. Everyone except the 71 yr. old man were born deaf. People are coming from other cities in India now to get treated. It is absolutely MIRACULOUS and everyone is so happy!! There are parents here who keep thanking us over and over and hugging us - its amazing! Please pray for our strength, sleep and that the Lord continues to heal the deaf here.

  • KATRINA C/O JOHN PETER & CHRISTINE     Please unite with us in desperate prayer for Katrina (14). (Parents John Peter & Christina) We need to pull down a miracle of healing for her. Last night at 10 Katrina started having a very strong pain in her side. She had a slight pain the day before but not as intense so we just thought it would pass. She was taken to a clinic and then moved to a hospital. Paralysis started going up her legs and she now has paralysis waist down. It has slowed a bit but if the paralysis continues it could stop her breathing or other vital organs. The doctors are trying to define what is happening. She has been in the hospital all night and they still don’t know what the problem is. They say it could be some sort of virus. That is as much as we know right now. So, please pray for the miraculous complete healing of our Katrina! PS: Drs are asking for 12,000 pesos medicine for her to raise the haemoglobin in her blood.... Pray:  For a complete and total, instant healing of Katrina,  That the paralysis will completely stop, spread no further, and reverse.  Against the strong pain Katrina still has in her back,  For John Peter and Christina to have strong faith, peace, and wisdom during this time,  For Katrina to have a spirit of faith and not be fearful at all This is an update on Katrina, of John Peter and Christina. After a series of tests, doctors have determined that Katrina has a cyst or tumor in the spine. The growth is compressing the nerves and has paralyzed Katrina's lower back and legs. The doctors consider it is urgent that Katrina undergoes a very difficult and risky operation on her spine to remove the tumor. They have already warned John Peter and Christina that it is probable that the spine has been damaged beyond repair, and that dear Katrina might be paralyzed for life. As you can imagine, John Peter and Christina are devastated by the news, and are holding on to the Lord and their faith with their last ounce of strength. They are praying about whether Katrina should be operated here in Monterrey or in Canada, but are heavily leaning towards having the operation here, as they haven't made arrangements for her to hospitalized in Canada. The operation will be performed in the next few days.  Please pray for the operation to be successful, for supernatural anointing of the doctors, and for a miracle so that dear Katrina can regain movement and feeling in her legs. Also, since this has been an extremely hard blow on John Peter and Christina, please keep them in your prayers, for a real anointing of faith and trust in the Lord through this ordeal, against fear and discouragement.

  • ANONYMOUS     I have so much darkness. I cannot get free. A continued rejection has been happening at work. A person builds me up to reject. I some how get caught up in it. In the beginning I was trying to be understanding. I loved him Godly. I want to quit the job to not deal with this person, but I need a way to pay my bills. I would get over the situation and move on. I forgive. I love my neighbor as myself. But I work directly with this person. I have been asking God for a way out. I got over it for 2 months and back to laughing and joy of the Lord when he began through friendliness. He leads me to this place then rejects sharply as a person. I had come out of a 12 year of disappointments with my daughter 4 years ago, so rejection carries a pain. Every time he does the dance it makes me cry, and it is painful the action. I am forced to stay there until I can find a different job opportunity. I do not know how I got sucked into it again. It was 2 months. I was so over it. I have made different decisions 2 months ago. But now, no communication except working. I will not consider any voice. However, I am so completely broken. I am so depressed, tired. I cry a lot. I have been sleeping a lot. Can’t get out of bed. My muscles hurt. I feel so unacceptable. I know it is all demonic, but do not know how to get free. I need time in the Lord. I need a way to pay bills. I need to get out of that environment.

  • DONALD & CHRISTA     Please pray for Donald, who has since many years terrible hiccups that make him very tense, wakes him up at night etc. He and his wife have tried Buddhism, which didn't help and his wife has now asked for prayer. “By His stripes we are healed.” We are praying that the Lord will manifest His power and help them to see that He is real. Please pray with us. Christa is a very intellectual woman, who is not able to walk and has her lower body almost like paralyzed. The doctors don't know what is wrong with her. When my friend told me about her, I got a check that it has to do with voodoo, and mentioned this. My friend said then, that Christa once did some voodoo because of jealousy, and got her husband into a wheelchair. Sometime after that she herself got depressed and is now like this. Let's pray that she gets in touch with the Lord and His love and forgiveness and deliverance.

Teddy hasn’t work in 16 months. No one is willing to employ us. Immigration requires Teddy to apply for a work permit. We placed Teddy’s papers with a lawyer who in the end turned out to be illegitimate, so we have lost time. We are having major financial problems. We have started to sell our house belongings just so we can purchase food as that’s our only means of survival. We may lose the home we are renting, due to not being able to pay rent, we don’t to lose our home. So please pray for a breakthrough. Please pray for both of our ill health. And we are trying to find a grant funding in order to start a small food mobile cart business, since we are so unemployed. Pray for unity, faith, hope and patience.   • JONATHAN     I am a Christian and aged 44. I have for 25 years suffered from severe M.E. The illness is presently very acute indeed, and it affects also my stomach and ability to digest food. I go through periods when I am unable to eat any food whatsoever without my stomach feeling more ill. I have been investigated by stomach specialists, but the diagnosis they have concluded is that rather than being a separate condition to my M.E., it is just part of the M.E. itself. My stomach is in such a bad phase at the moment that I have been unable to take any food at all since about Christmas, some 3 weeks now. I am suffering from starvation. I have no idea how long this will take to recover out of. Another week? Another two? I really would so very much appreciate prayer that the Lord would sustain me, and that he would be gracious and that my stomach would start to recover again, as I am so afraid that without nourishment I may grow weaker and soon die. My body is wasted away to almost nothing. I am too ill with my M.E. to go in to hospital. Thank you so much.

  • SAMUEL     Thank you for praying re my recent hospital admission. I have really felt God’s hand at work as the doctors there prescribed me fentanyl (which I have as patches anyway) but in the form of a lollypop, which although does not work long term, gives short term relief to the pain. The dose of these lollypop’s are twice the dose of my patches, and although they do not get the pain to a level that I can easily cope with, it does none the less abate the pain enough to be useful. The other major thing that has happened is the doctors said I should not have to live with such pain, but also with the nausea caused by the painkillers. As a result of this they referred me to the Selly oak pain clinic. This morning I received a letter from Selly oak and my appointment is on the 18th of this month, which is amazingly fast, bearing in mind that all my other pain clinic appointment waiting times have been around 6 months. I would appreciate if you could pray about this appointment, that God would give the team wisdom as to what they should do. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything more. However this is at least something positive, maybe with a fresh look at things they will find something better to deal with the problem.

We have been arguing a lot about this as I do not want to leave my family and go, it would break their heart if we went, and mine. Please please pray we do not have to go. This has been going on for along time and it is really affecting our marriage please pray that this is resolved soon. Please also pray for our marriage.
     

  • ANONYMOUS     In a third world country, I prayed earnestly for a child and God gave him to me by Caesarean. I had to return to the UK due to intimidation. For almost two years, I have not seen my child who is still in that country. Please pray that God will remove every obstacle and open the way for the boy to come and live with me in the UK where he will have better opportunities and the care of his mother.

I would not contact him, and if being with him is not pleasing God, please God take him away from me. Even though we kiss and hug, I still am not sure whether we are bf/gf, because I feel the physical is going beyond the emotional. These few dates things get better as we exchange more. But I don't know. I just don't want to waste the time on a person that is not right for each other.

  • JONATHAN     Hi There, I am housebound and live alone. I suffer from a very severe form of M.E., which I've had for 25 years. It causes me, amongst other things, a chronically ill stomach. It has been fully investigated by stomach specialists but has been determined to be just an effect of and aspect of the M.E. itself. It is not treatable at all and no medication helps it. I go through phases when I cannot eat any food for days or even weeks, because my stomach just won't accept any. I have hardly been able to eat at all for this past month. There is very little left of my body physically as I have wasted away so extremely. It sure saves of my groceries bill, but I long to be able to eat. I look at food in my fridge longingly, but know that when I am in a bad patch like this, if I swallow even a mouthful I will have terrible discomfort. I'd really would appreciate prayer so much, just to experience some improvement in the days that are ahead. (I have long been almost bedridden, but get about in my flat by electric wheelchair).

I've never yearned for much, not glory nor fame, just that I can be happy together with the people I love, which are very few at this point. I don't know what to to do nor how to go on. She is 84 yrs. Her roommate is Tracy and is young and on a respirator, please pray that she recovers also and will eventually get weaned from the tubes. We also just learned that our aunt, Rosalia G. was admitted to a nursing home in Williamstown, Ma., she has Alzheimer's and she can no longer.  Thank you to you all, god bless and have a healthy and happy New Year. I'm also praying for a change of heart in ex-partner who's still technically my husband, who I no longer see and who says he will keep the divorce on hold until I sign over custody of our 4 sons to him. I'm also praying for courage and divine provision for my 3 young sons who are being detained far away in Africa over a prolonged court suit by my ex over custody and who are being deprived of both parents as a result. I'm praying also for the man of God's choice to come alongside in marriage and help me bring up these children with 2 different fathers now both of whom posed as Christians at first and then left after getting what they'd wanted.

And if it's better for Brian and me not to contact, cut all these. But never leave him alone, God, put good Christians friends around him to bring him back to YOU.

The reason for my request is that the ruler of this age is trying to let me go of what Jesus has given me and is building he has been making me feel sad depressed alone and at times suicidal. The place where I work from isn't were I want to be anymore. Help me talk to Jehovah and ask him for a new place of work. I need peace! Please help me.   • IRIS & MIRANDA     Hope you can pray for me and my sister Iris. Since we have been suffering from verbal and emotionally abuse from our parents for around 10 years. Once for a while there is a storm in the family which makes both I and my sister feel very scared and worry that it will become a physical abuse one day. This has been affecting our life and currently I found that symptoms of emotional problem appears on my health which I am looking for further counsellor which may also require medication for release of symptoms. Recently on 25 Dec 09, there was a storm at home again, this time is from both of my parents and my dad initiated that, I cannot describe very detaily here, but wish your prayer support. Both I and my sister feel very frightened and wanting to move out urgently, but we wonder whether we have enough finances, and finding a suitable place in Hong Kong is not easy at all. Also, since my sister got work injury two years ago, she got the contract job which will be ended on 4 Feb .. and for me becoz of my health (physically & emotionally) issue, I have no choice but to resign from my current stressful job, will work until mid of Feb and planning to rest and adjust the body to be healthier then get a job. Since Mar 09 I have had ankle injury of ligament tore, up to now still cannot have prolonged walking and undergo physiotherapy treatment to ease the pain. I have been worrying about my health and finance. Hope u can pray for me that God will guide me to the right medical treatment so that my injury will be recovered soon, God will provide a good and suitable counsellor to me and give me wisdom and discernment to identify during searching, and God will change my attitude to be more positive and bring me out from all emotional problems. Pray that God will let me and my sister identify how urgent it is to move out, and teach us to manage our finance at that period of time, God will also give us peace and protect us from the abuses from our parents, give us helps from friends and churches. Pray that God will provide a suitable job for me and my sister of accessible locations, reasonable salary and considerate boss and colleagues. He will send angles to help us at the time of needs. If it is his will for us to move out, pray that he will help us to find a flat to live independently, so that both our spirit, soul and body can rest well and recover very soon.
