Jacob, I can tell you what Jesus himself said about losing your salvation. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; NEITHER SHALL ANYONE SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY HAND.  "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and NO ONE IS ABLE TO SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY FATHER'S HAND.  John 10:27-29  I suppose that would allow me to jump out of His hand but only a fool would do that.
Sin cannot take away my salvation or no one could be saved. The first epistle of John, first chapter (verses 8 and 9) says:  "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Jude v 24 further says God is "able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,"
In light of those assurances you can safely give your life to Jesus Christ with no fear of losing your salvation.
