THE NEW ENGLISH ORCHESTRA

All members of the NEO are Christians drawn from both Protestant and Catholic traditions. The NEO is made up of high quality instrumentalists drawn from some of the top orchestras in the world, a polished and versatile group of singers with an extensive repertoire, and dancers who add a totally different dimension to concerts with a wide-range of dance styles and innovative choreography. They perform everything from choral classics and contemporary works to such rarities as choral music from Estonia or tribal music from Africa, and Jazz Spirituals.

     (In our recent trip to Salzburg with the NEO, Amy and I witnessed amazing things: in their concerts people of all nationalities met Christ in music. I cannot sufficiently describe to you how wonderful the NEO people are.)

 

PRAYERWEEK.COM

     An organisation devoted to encouraging and organising national prayer. Pray for them! Their vision and missions are in their words, "To commit as individuals, to pray throughout the week for your nation. To make the week a prayer week for churches or fellowships, so that as many churches as possible throughout the land are praying together with a similar purpose.
      Probably the key to this week of prayer, to see a church not only commit to pray for our nation, but stand with another church or churches in their area, to find common ground. To worship, pray and encourage each other for a whole week."
